Asset Management and Temperature Monitoring

Yale-New Haven Hospital has selected an Asset Management and Temperature Monitoring solutions to improve staff efficiency and patient care. Yale-New Haven will use the AeroScout solutions to more efficiently manage and track approximately 1,000 medical assets such as infusion pumps, and to monitor the temperatures of refrigerated items. The solution leverages Yale-New Haven’s existing Cisco Unified Wireless Network, enabling campus-wide asset tracking and condition monitoring at a low total cost of ownership. Relying on the skills of approximately 2,200 university-based and community physicians, the healthcare organization provides services for more than 503,000 outpatient and emergency visits and 50,000 discharges each year.
