Freedom of Information Act at county level

Culpeper County Government in Virginia has implemented CounterACT across 14 local and remote offices to meet Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) compliance, control access to the network and protect against threats. Originally deployed by Culpeper for access control alone, use of CounterACT has expanded to encompass a greater role of monitoring the network and protecting agencies including the 911 Emergency Center, EMS, Airport and Sheriff’s office from cyber attacks, malware and viruses.
