Integrated traffic video for Florida

TrafficLand, the aggregator of live traffic video, has reached agreements with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to integrate traffic video from five major markets across the state into its national network of nearly 7,000 traffic cameras. Similar to public-private partnerships TrafficLand has across the country, the company will install its IP video equipment at FDOT Operation Centers in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando. Live video from the FDOT cameras will be available to the public on TrafficLand’s free website (www.trafficland.com) and through a range of proprietary services for media and public safety agencies, delivered via its fortified network infrastructure.
