Centralized phone system - VoPI

The United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the nation’s largest minority education organization, has partnered with iCore Networks, a D.C. metro area provider of Voice over Private Internet (VoPI) services, to implement a centralized phone system using VoPI. “iCore’s VoPI system will enable UNCF to integrate its telephony system at headquarters and more than 20 branch offices nationwide,” said Michael L. Lomax, Ph.D., UNCF president and CEO. “This will allow our entire organization to operate seamlessly and more cost-effectively.”

UNCF serves the youth, the community and the nation by supporting its 39 member historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in acquiring the resources necessary to provide students with a high quality education. Additionally, UNCF provides students with the support they need to gain access to and graduate from college prepared for competitive employment, further educational advancement and active participation in civil society. UNCF supports more than 60,000 students at over 900 colleges and universities across the country. www.UNCF.org.
